The Science—And Art—Of Leading Yourself and Others

Brad and Steve dive into different methods of leadership. The science calls this authoritarian, servent, and transformation leadership styles. They call it the difference between leading people (or yourself) from a place of love versus a place of fear. Per the usual, nuance is the name of the game. The goal isn’t to completely abandon or completely abide by any of these leadership styles. It is to be aware of them, understand their pros and cons, and use them appropriately, as tools in a toolkit. Brad and Steve also talk about how the same principles used for leading others can be applied to leading yourself.
